Restricting Access to Assets in Jira Projects

When you enable Asset Management for Jira, the Assets link appears on every Jira Project navigation menu.

If you'd like to restrict which projects in Jira have access to the Asset Management for Jira, you can enable this setting by following the steps below:

1. Click on Settings in the app navigation 

2. Enable the option to Restrict access to Projects

Once enabled, no Jira projects will have access to the Assets app in the navigation menu.

If you would like to enable access to certain projects, you can select the list of projects by selecting their names and clicking on Save.

  1. You should only be able to see the "Assets" link in the Projects Navigation if it was enabled for that project.
