Why Can’t I Access Asset Management for Jira?
If Asset Management for Jira does not load, the issue may be caused by an old bookmarked link or a network restriction.
Troubleshooting instructions below
Bookmarked Link
If you're using a bookmarked link it may point to the app’s older Connect URL. These older links do not open correctly following the move to Forge.
To Fix: Open your Jira site and launch Asset Management for Jira directly from Jira’s Apps menu and replace the old bookmark with the current page after opening the app through Jira.
If the app still doesn't load when opened from from Jira’s Apps menu, continue with the network checks below.
Check for Network or Firewall Restriction
AMFJ now runs on Atlassian Forge and uses Atlassian’s CDN. Some company firewalls, web filters, or network-security policies can block access to the domain the app uses.
To test this, open this link:
If the page loads, you should see the page shown in the screenshot below.
An “Invalid URL” response is expected here and confirms that the CDN is reachable from your network.

If this page does not load, times out, or says this page cannot be reached then this is likely to be a firewall issue on your end. This is Atlassian’s CDN, so it may need to be added to an allowlist by your network-security team.
Atlassian's recommendation is to allow this wildcard domain:*.atlassian-dev.net
After this has been allowlisted, try opening our tool from Jira >> Apps >> Asset Management for Jira
